A little more on the new base.....

The immages have changed... a bit. Mostly because I now understand that I was making the apartments with a 60' radius, not diameter. So the first ones were really REALLY big... when I toned it down to 45', once again, I used 45' radius. The immages below are 60' diameter. You will note that there is a kitchen. The main house is far enough away that I figured I should have one of my own. The bath tub is still a 4 person jacuzzi. The glass faced case in the bedroom is the "Werewolf Book rack." It is locked securly. I still need to put a toilet in there, but.. 8-). If you wanna play with this, I have an unfurnished version of the room. It has nothing but the elevator, walls, doors, and the floor. The rest is up to you.

One more time.... Future dwellings? (this change thanks to Jurgen)

(Editor's note: I was having problems with some of the immages so I destroyed the old blog entry and started fresh. A second editor's note: Dickie sent me a note about making dome buildings. He found a much easier way to make them. It took me a bit to catch on, but in the end, the new group home and danger room were created thanks to him.)

This drawing is the possible ICBM storage facility turned into AlertForce living facility. The entry point will be through B, but there are emergency exits through the air ducts. The apartments are 60' diameter circles which you can design any way you wish. I have a few basic designs that you can work from if you choose.

New add on: Below are close ups of spacific areas within the over all map. First is individual apartments. Second, Group quarters and the danger room. Last, Hal's area, the labs and the exercise rooms. Note that the entry door has been added to the exercise room.

There must have been a photographer at the fight with Mad Dog...

(From "The mid-day sun can draw out mad dogs, even late at night..." ) I hurt him but he was still coming at me hard. We are too much equals, I thought, this could take forever. That is why I decided to go into feral form. I jumped out of his reach to give myself time to alter my form. When I landed in my new form, I thought, Ah-ha... now I can press my attack. I leapt at him. Unfortunately, my left foot landed in a pool of oil and my jump was.... a little off target. I bounced my forehead off the tank, scaring the officers who had moved to the other side of the tank and tried to get in. I was a little foggy there for a second, but when I got my focus back, I made the attack on Mad Dog that I had originally planned. And this time there was no oil on the ground, and I was able to knock him out.
